For the past number of years, Holy Nativity has been actively increasing our outreach ministries and our involvement with the surrounding community.
These include the following:
- Monthly meal preparation and annual toiletry bags for the EXIT Youth Shelter and outreach programs.
- Weekly volunteering at the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank.
- Christmas gift donations for the Wood’s Homes Christmas Wish List.
- Supporting Syrian refugee families in Calgary.
- Clothing donations for Inn from the Cold.
- Gift donations to Operation Christmas Child.
- Monetary support for the following programs: Canadian Food Grains Bank, Calgary Interfaith Food Bank, CAWST, Habitat for Humanity, Veteran’s Poppy Fund, YWCA.
Members of the congregation are invited to help in these various ministries as a way of showing the love of Jesus to those in any kind of need.
